Texas is one of the few states that will allow you to have a Retail Dealership out of your home. There are certain restrictions of course, but if your city allows you to do it, you can. It all starts with a call to your city planning board. Generally this works for larger homes, in mixed commercial- residential areas.
Texas allows you to set up your dealership within an office in aprivate residence, it must be completely separate from the actual residence. Besides meeting all zoning requirements from that city or county, your office must include, at minimum, a desk, two chairs, internet access, and a working telephone listed in your Dealership name.
Of course one of the main reason why people like to set up Texas Dealerships is that you:
- Do not need to change over your personal Driver’s License
- You can issue unlimited 30 day Paper Dealer agent tags (to use for yourself and our Authorized Reps.)
- Everything can be done online
- The Dealer Class is only a 6 hour course and can be done online

Payment is due at the inception of our agreement, along with a signed contract.
